We believe that experiences are a powerful tool to educate people about whisky, and we plan to create a dedicated branch to engineer how our customers interact with our products through such experiences. A well-developed experience can stimulate the five senses and generate strong emotions, creating lifelong memories for our customers. The customer experience is an intangible set of characteristics that we can design to create powerful links between clients and our brands.

We believe that physical activities will be the most complete and elaborate tools that we will have to develop the local market for whisky.

Currently, our country behaves as an immature market for alcohol, with demand soaring on weekends and falling almost to zero on weekdays. We have identified the lack of activities that teach and encourage responsible drinking as the cause of this issue.

As whisky producers, we aim to live and transmit the gospel of appreciation. When people are taught about the art of whisky making, they tend to develop a culture of appreciation and build better relationships with the drink, leaving behind toxic consumption patterns. Our strategy within the AC Experiences branch is to focus on developing a market for our products mainly through educational experiences.

We plan to start organizing events where we can offer joyful experiences around whisky to a limited number of people. Our starting point will be around the gastronomical cluster that is currently blooming in our country, as foodies and restaurateurs appreciate local ingredients and products. 

We have already established strategic partnerships with them, and we plan to increase our collaborations and the quality of the experiences to boost the market development for our Bolivian whiskies.

In the long term, we aim to have a strategic architectural space that not only stores our barrels and serves as our headquarters but is also designed specifically to attract visitors through cultural activities that will develop the local market for whisky on a larger scale.

We see that with the right strategy, our business can generate positive change in our society. Therefore, our dream is to develop and construct warehouses with a strong and authentic identity where we can age our whiskies. These constructions will be designed as a temple where we can offer the most complete experiences around whisky to considerable numbers of people. In this temple, we will educate about whisky, local culture, and highlight the dangers of alcohol abuse.

1Why is this unit important?
Our underground mud houses combine three strategic purposes that help us differentiate the company and products, develop a market for whisky, and that are designed to age spirits under unique conditions.
2What is the strategy behind this unit?
Bolivia is currently an immature whisky market and in order to develop it with a culture of appreciation and knowledge, we need a physical space where we can educate visitors, to earn loyal customers and advocacy. By having a unique architecture inspired by local andean cultures, we add identity with which many bolivians can identify with. At the same time, the design, technology and functionality will add exposure towards other interests such as culture, architecture, and sustainable energy.

Constructions with a strong identity that represent a positive set of values and beliefs tend to create social capital with the community that surrounds them.
3Is this project already finished?
We already tested tour experiences to limited amounts of people, we will launch the experiences in the coming months. On the other hand, we already started working on the conceptualization, engineering, and architectural starting points for our construction. We require investment in order to buy the land, finish developing the project and constructing the space that will be strategically located in the department of La Paz.
